CASEMENT WINDOWS
Casement windows provide a large opening for ventilation over short opening spans. It requires eaves or external roof cover for weather protection when kept in an open position.
It is possible to clean and maintain casement windows from the inside. This window system can have either an inward or outward opening. If required, we recommend a retractable fly screen for outward opening windows. However, inward opening casement windows encroach on internal space and would require a fixed fly screen on the outside.
For use on higher elevations, the window must have a child restraint which limits the opening, to comply with safety regulations.
