BI-FOLD WINDOWS
Bi-fold windows provide the largest opening for ventilation and connectivity over long opening spans. This window type is suitable for use on ground floor homes between kitchen and entertainment area, as it blurs the line between the indoor and outdoor spaces.
Bi-fold windows feature vertical glazing panels connected on hinges. The panels fold and slide along the top and bottom tracks to stack on to either one or both sides, depending on the size of the opening. This allows large, unobstructed openings that provide great ventilation. This window system requires a structural lintel designed to take loads of the glazing panels. If required, we recommend a retractable fly screen system for this window type.
